Kevin Paulsen, President, Pikes Peak Placement, wrote to LinkedIn:
1. Waaah! I presented a candidate to a company 8 months ago.
2. They phone-screened him but were unable to coordinate their schedules for an interview.
3. Four months later, someone from client company called another recruiter. My old candidate was sent out by the new recruiter for an interview and was hired.
4. I want a full fee but the client refuses to pay.
Kevin is wrong. He couldn't get the candidate out to the company in eight months. Which means he didn't do his job as the other recruiter was able to get him out immediately.

Watching the comments on this interesting fiasco for some time now.. Wow, it is amazing what little recruiters really know in regards to their own contracts, and how much they truly assume.
Finally I could not resist answering this one, please see -
