BlogCatalog.com has organized a "Blog Against Abuse" day for Sept. 27, asking bloggers to all blog about abuse on the same day (your choice of subject matter). They've had some success before: generating awareness and raising funds that directly benefited more than 1,000 students in the United States through DonorsChoose.org (May); and raising awareness about organ donation around the world by increasing organ donation-related stories on the Internet by 10 times the amount last July.
This time, Copywrite, Ink. is lending them a hand by hosting a Blog For Hope Post Competition with a $250 donation to the charity of the winner's choice (among other things). Check our blog for details. You do not have to be a member of BlogCatalog.com to participate.
