The Gen Y Dharma Bum's Summer of Love
It's evolution not revolution, man.
The only people for me are the mad ones.
The ones who are mad to live, mad to talk,
mad to be saved.
Brett Familoe was a naive young man. So it took him until the last year of college to realize that many people don't like their jobs.
He immediately said to himself: "Hey dude, you're going to be one the guys who absolutely loves his job". But he didn't know how to make that dream come true. So he hit the road looking for learning from people who L-U-V love what they do.
What did he learn? A heavy lesson, man. H-E-V-Y, heavy. You don't have control of life. So you can't demand a job that suits you right away. Instead you have to pursue it steadily over time. Far out, man. Really!
Dharma Bum: A humble drifter in the realm of Truth.
This is a great point. I preach "sacrifice today for future potential benefits tomorrow." You can't get everything you want today, but need to build your Personal Brand, so that you may be placed in a position that more suits your needs later.

I dunno. I don't get it. I always loved all my jobs, even those that had nothing to do with what I did.
